4. How to Use
Install two AAA batteries and inspect the clamp meter before measurement.
Turn on the instrument and select AC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance or continuity measurement.
For AC current measurement, open the clamp jaw and position one conductor inside the jaw.
Close the clamp jaw completely and read the current value on the display.
For voltage measurement, connect the 7066A test leads to the appropriate terminals and place the probes across the points to be tested.
Before measuring resistance or continuity, make sure the circuit under test is de-energized.
After use, remove the test leads from the circuit and store the meter in the 9079 carrying case.
